Background

Dr. Ghoneima joins the Department from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt where he received a scholarship to study his PhD in Orthodontics. He received his Bachelor's Degree of Dental Sciences (BDS '97), Master's Degree (MSc '04) and PhD Degree (PhD '10) in Orthodontics from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Ghoneima's research interests revolve primarily around the applications of 3D imaging in orthodontics, digital 3D study models, rapid maxillary exapansion, and airway analysis. He is a member of the Egyptian Orthodontics Association, World Federation of Orthodontics and American Association of Orthodontics.
