IUSD Research Day
Monday April 15th, 2013
The 21st Indiana University School of Dentistry Research Day will be held on Monday April 15th, 2013 from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm at the IUPUI Campus Center on the third and fourth floors.
The IUSD Research Day is an annual event highlighting the advances in basic and clinical research of the students, staff and faculty associated with Indiana University School of Dentistry. The Indiana Section is the local link to the National and the International organizations for dental research (American Association for Dental Research- AADR and International Association for Dental Research-IADR).
Opening remarks will be given by Dr. Nasser Paydar, IUPUI Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer.
This year’s keynote speaker is Mary B. MacDougall, Ph.D. associate dean for research and James R. Rosen Chair of Dental Research in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry.
Following the keynote address, research and clinical case poster presentations will be displayed. The poster sessions are designed to encourage the interaction among presenters and attendees, with ample time allotted for questions and discussion. Research day also includes an award program to honor the award winners in several categories. There is also a commercial exhibit by leading manufacturers and companies before and after the presentations.

REGISTRATION AND POSTER SUBMISSION
The 21st Research Day abstract registration will be open from Wednesday February 6th through Tuesday March 5th, 2013. Abstract registration for poster presentation will be done online. Before beginning the registration process, make sure you have the following documents ready:
- Mentor Approval of your Abstract (required)
- Completed Abstract, including all authors and affiliations (required)
- formatted according to these instructions: Abstract Instructions Document
- HIPAA Photo Release form (if required )
- HIPAA Compliance Form (if required)
- IACUC or IRB documentation (if required)
When all required documents are prepared and ready for uploading, you may begin registration by selecting the link below:
