Student Laptop Program

Information Services and Technology Management (ISTM) provides support for students, faculty, and staff in the use of technology supporting our three core missions: Education, Research, and Clinical Service. Many curricular activities at the Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD) require the use of mobile devices. Much of your course work will involve computers, and we have a computer-based clinical system that tracks and records all aspects of patient care, from appointments and contact information to treatment plans and completed procedures. Therefore, it is essential for each student to have a portable personal computer that is compatible with our learning environment.

DDS, Operative, Prosthodontic and Periodontic students are required to purchase either the Apple MacBook Pro 13" or the Dell Latitude E6330 only.

Orthodontic students will be required to only purchase the unit under the Dell link below that is labeled Orthodontics.

Hygiene students will be notified via email of the requirements of their program.
