Background
Dr. Brown is Professor and Chair of the Department of Restorative Dentistry at IUSD. He is an Ohio State dental graduate, and completed a residency in Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthetics at the Mayo Clinic. This will be the sixth year that he has participated in the Academy of Prosthodontics’ Denture Outreach Program. The site this year will once again be at the Blackfeet service unit in Browning, Montana. Two other prosthodontists, Drs. Cliff Van Blarcum and Donna Hecker will also be providing mentorship in Montana. All three enjoy the opportunity to share their knowledge and skill in complete denture fabrication to the greatly underserved Native American people, and look forward to sharing their enthusiasm with our IUSD student participants.
