| Applications for the Orthodontic Fellowship Program are now being accepted. The application deadline is January 31, 2012. Decisions will be sent out via e-mail in March 2012. The fellowship class of 2012 will begin 01 July 2012 and go through 30 June 2013. | |

| Dr. Sean Liu received the Beni Solow Award for the best article in the European Journal of Orthodontics in 2010. Dr. Liu accepted the award on June 19, 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey for his article titled 'Continuous forces are more effective than intermittent forces in expanding sutures'. | |

He will come two Mondays a month and provide support in the Craniofacial Anomalies Clinic at Riley Hospital for Children in the morning and pre-doctoral clinic in the afternoon. Dr. Serkis Isikbay has resigned to go into private practice. We have begun a search for a new pre-doctoral program director. | |

| The Department received preliminary approval to begin accepting applications for an orthodontic fellowship. The Fellowship will accept two fellows who will receive 1,500 continuing education credits (CEs). More information will be posted as the program develops. | |
