Dr. Roberts has been in private practice for nearly four decades. He completed his undergraduate studies at Earlham College and Indiana University, and graduate studies at Indiana University Medical Center, Indiana University Graduate School, UHSA, William Beaumont Medical Center, Oxford University (UK) and Edinburgh University (UK). Dr. Roberts lectures nationally and internationally on a variety of subjects including oral medicine, craniofacial pain, hospital dentistry, dental sleep medicine, and evidence-based health care. He has been attending and consulting staff at various hospitals for more than 35 years. Dr. Roberts is active in the American Academies of Oral Medicine, Orofacial Pain, and Pain Management. He serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Pain Management. His practice areas include headache, craniofacial physiatry, chronic and acute craniofacial pain, dysphagia, mucositis, TMD/TMJ dysfunction, functional rehabilitation of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and surgical deficits, neuropathic, neurovascular and somatic pain disorders, anesthesia and pain management, obstructive sleep apnea and CPAP intolerance.
