Funding for Community Service Programs

Grant Information

Purpose: To promote oral health in Indiana through public health service, teaching and research
Eligibility: Indiana University students and faculty affiliated with dental education 
Criteria:

Preference will be given to:

  • Community based projects which involve dental, dental hygiene, dental laboratory technology or dental assisting students
  • Projects which advance one or more of the Healthy People 2010 Oral Health Objectives. (Request copies from program director)
Amount of funding available: Up to $3,500 may be awarded annually in one or more grants that can begin at any time of the year
Application deadline: There is no deadline; applications may be submitted at any time. 
Review process: Applications may be submitted to the Division of Community Dentistry and will be reviewed by DCD faculty. Applicants will be contacted by mail with notification of a decision or a request for further information following the ensuing approval of the Dean of  IUSD (when granting of a monetary award is recommended by the committee).
