Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Internship
The Indiana University Dept. of Oral Surgery & Hospital Dentistry sponsors a one year (non-categorical) internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. This position is ideal for those interested in eventually pursuing a residency position in oral & maxillofacial surgery. Intern responsibilities are similar to first year (categorical) residents, including treating patients in the outpatient clinics, taking call, going to the OR, and participating in all departmental didactics. The interns taken in the past have had an excellent track record in eventually matching into an oral & maxillofacial surgery residency program.
