Foundation's Purpose: |
The Oral Health Care for Cancer Patient Foundation, a
program of Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD), has been established to
improve the quality of oral health care for all underserved cancer patients
through collaboration, education, advocacy, and most importantly by increasing
cancer patient’s access to dental services. |
We need your help to raise money so that we can assist underserved cancer
patients with dental care before, during and after chemotherapy and/or
radiation. |
OHCCP, a program of IUSD, will first and foremost use a portion of all donations to begin providing
small amounts of direct financial assistance to underserved, uninsured, and/or
under-insured, cancer patients who are in need of dental treatment.
Additionally, donations will also be used to support our mission of educating
dental providers, oncology health providers, and those living with cancer about
the diagnosis and treatment of oral health care conditions and complications
related to cancer therapies.
Finally, monies donated will be used to continue developing resources that
advocate for the oral health care of all cancer patients.
Ultimately, your gift will be used for general support of the Oral Health Care
for Cancer Patients Program and to pay for expenses associated with initial
dental consultations, radiographs, pain relief, preventive and restorative
dental services provided to adults qualifying to be Indiana University School of
Dentistry patients.
