Karen
Masbaum Yoder is a Professor and Director of Community Dentistry in the
Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry at Indiana University School of
Dentistry in Indianapolis (IUSD). She holds the MSD degree in
Dental Public Health and a PhD in Dental Science with a minor in Health Policy
and Health of the Community from IUSD. Her dissertation title was Altitude, Diet
and Dental Fluorosis: A Study in Tanzania.
Dr.
Yoder has appointments as Associate Faculty in Dental Education at Indiana
University - Purdue University Fort Wayne, Associate Faculty in the Department
of Public Health of Indiana University School of Medicine, and Research
Associate at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She is program director
for SEAL INDIANA,
IUSD's Statewide Mobile Dental Sealant Program. Her dental experience also includes 10 years of private
practice in Indiana and five years of dental public health in East Africa.
