Armando E Soto-Rojas DDS, MPH is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry, Indiana University School of Dentistry. He is currently working in the Fluoride Pharmacology Research Program. Dr. Soto-Rojas is program associate director for SEAL INDIANA, IUSD's Statewide Mobile Dental Sealant Program. He is involved and participates actively in the Binational/Cross-Cultural Health Enhancement Center . Dr. Soto-Rojas previously held the positions of Preventive Dentistry Department Chair and Research Assistant at the Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico City. He also held a position as Assistant Researcher at The Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán, conducting research on autoimmune diseases, particularly on Sjögren’s syndrome. After receiving his degree from the Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico City in 1981, he received an MPH at King's College School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London, London England in 1990. He has published articles in the fluoride and dry mouth area. Dr. Soto Rojas' research projects have received National and International awards.
