Training:

Richard D Jackson DMD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry/Oral Health Research Institute at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Jackson received his dental degree from the University of Louisville in 1979 and a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1981. As an investigator he has been an involved in a number of clinical trials relating to the safety and efficacy of dental products. He is also actively involved in research relating to fluoride pharmacology/safety, the development dental fluorosis and the early detection of dental caries and received a number of grants from the NIDCR to conduct investigations in these areas of interest.
