Dental Erosion Research Program

Main Goal Specific Goals Program Director

Dr. Domenick T. Zero

To advance scientific knowledge on the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, clinical management and prevention of dental erosion

  • To develop and validate models for studying dental erosion and its prevention

  • To develop and validate new clinical methods for measuring the progress of dental erosion

  • To develop and evaluate approaches to decrease the erosion potential of foods and beverages

  • To develop and evaluate new methods to clinically manage and prevent dental erosion

Other Faculty Supporting the Program

Dr. Carlos González-Cabezas

Dr. Anderson Hara
