| Dr. Harry Papadopoulos received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New
York University College of Dentistry (1992), and his Doctor of Medicine degree
from New York Medical College (2002). He completed his oral and maxillofacial
surgery residency training at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center in New York
(2000) and a general surgery internship at Westchester Medical Center /New York
Medical College (2003). Thereafter, he did a one year fellowship in oral &
maxillofacial surgery, with emphasis on orthognathic & temporomandibular joint
surgery, at Emory University (2004). It was here that he gained a special
interest in the surgical management of congenital & acquired deformities, which
led him to complete a one year fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the
University of Pittsburgh (2005). Dr. Papadopoulos became board certified by the
American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2006. He will be joining the
faculty of Indiana University in July 2007 as an associate professor. Prior to
that time he has been an associate professor in the department of oral &
maxillofacial surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center,
Memphis from 2005-2007. He has previously won awards for teaching excellence,
both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He was also proudly selected for
the Faculty Educator Development Award given annually by the American
Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2006. His clinical and research
interests include cleft and craniofacial surgery, orthognathic surgery and
pediatric facial trauma. |
