Personal statement: I was born and raised just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I attended the University of Georgia for undergraduate and majored in Microbiology. I then attended the Medical College of Georgia for dental school and graduated in May 2004. Upon finishing my training, I hope to return to the Atlanta area to settle down and establish a practice. Aside from residency, I enjoy playing a number of sports, especially golf, and following my favorite college team, the Georgia Bulldogs.

Personal Statement: I was born in Abington, Pennsylvania, which is just
outside of Philadelphia and moved to Indianapolis prior to starting high
school. I attend Purdue University where I played Big Ten football for
the Boilermakers, while obtaining a B.S. in General Health Sciences
(Pre-Dental).
In my spare time I enjoy working out, playing golf, watching football,
and visiting with family and friends. Plan on staying in or around the
Indianapolis area upon completion of this program.

Personal Statement: My name is William Hughes. I am a life long
resident of the Chicao land area and
I recently graduated from dental school at the University of Illinois at
Chicago. I have been married to my wife, Jackie, for 4 years.
Concluding my residency training, I plan to practice in Wisconsin, of course,
pending Jackie's approval. I am looking forward to my 4 years in OMFS
training at Indiana University.

Personal Statement: I transferred to IU as a first year resident and am very
excited about the time I'll be spending here. I became interested in OMFS very
early on in my dental school career and was fortunate to be able to spend time
in many departments across the country. The scope of practice here at IU leaves
very little to be desired. I originally grew up in Massachusetts and went to
college in NY, grad school in Vermont, and then four years in Chapel Hill (bleed
Carolina Blue). All potential future candidates need to realize you do not need
to be a Colts fan to live in Indy (and if you're a Patriots fan like me you're
especially welcome). My family now resides in central California and I have a
beautiful fiancee who is a 4th year dental student at UNC.

Personal statement: I was born and grew up in Los Angeles. I graduated
from USC where I double
majored in Medieval History and Molecular Biology and went on to attend and
graduate from USC Dental School. I am very excited joining the IU family
and partaking in all that the IU OMS Program has to offer. In my spare
time, I enjoy playing basketball, water sports, following my USC Trojans, LA
Lakers, listening to music, going to concerts, cooking, reading and spreading
the virtues of Southern California to the rest of the country. Upon
graduation, I plan on returning to Southern California and working both in
private practice as well as staying active in academia.

Bellarmine College. We have been married for 8 years and have 2
wonderful children and an affectionate dog. I graduated from the
University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2003 and have spent the
last four years serving on active duty in the Army. In my spare time I
enjoy time with my family and watching the Louisville Cardinals on their
quest to dominate college athletics.

Indiana University DDS program, I am thrilled to continue my education

wife Andrea and have an 11 month old son J.J. I enjoy spending time with
friends and family fishing, and playing Bocce. Eventually, I would like
