| Retiring at the end of 2001, Dr.
Charles E. Tomich is a 1961 graduate of Loyola University School of
Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduation, he served an
internship in general dentistry at the U.S.
Public Health Service Hospital in San Francisco. He spent 5 years with
the Divisions of Hospitals and Indian Health
prior to his specialty training at Indiana University. Upon completion of
his specialty program, he was given a faculty appointment in Oral Pathology at
Indiana, which he held for 32 years, 10 of which were as departmental
chairman. Dr. Tomich is a Fellow of the American
Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a Diplomate of the American
Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. He has served as the president
of both organizations. Dr. Tomich represents the specialty of Oral and
Maxillofacial Pathology on the ADA Commission
on Dental Accreditation and chairs the review committee for the
Commission. He maintains a private practice of diagnostic oral and maxillofacial pathology in
Indianapolis. |
