Ginat W. Mirowski, DMD, MD  joined the faculty of both Indiana University School of Dentistry & Indiana University School of Medicine in the Department of Dermatology in 1996.  Her education includes a BA from Johns Hopkins University in 1981, a DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1986, & an MD from Harvard Medical School in 1990.  Dr. Mirowski completed a Fellowship in the Pathology Department of Brigham & Women's Hospital (Boston) in 1988, her Internship in the Department of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts (Worcester) in 1991 & her residency in the Department of Dermatology at the University of California (San Francisco) in 1994.  She is currently an Active Status physician with  Clarian Health (Methodist/IU/Riley Hospitals) & a Consulting Attending for the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center.  Dr. Mirowski is the author of about a dozen print & web-based chapters, 25 peer-reviewed articles & 4 award-winning videos & has made several national & international presentations.  She is also on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology & an ad hoc reviewer for numerous other publications including the Journal of the American Medical Association.  Dr. Mirowski coordinates "Melanoma Monday" on the IUPUI campus.  In addition, she belongs to the Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society, American Dental Association,  American Academy of Oral Medicine, International Association of Dental Research,  Indiana State Medical Society, American Medical Association, American Medical Women's Association, American Academy of Dermatology, Dermatology Foundation, Society of Investigative Dermatology,   Women's Dermatologic Society, &  Second Decade Society at Johns Hopkins University.
