The Oral Health Research Institute Quality Assurance Unit provides oversight for research investigations that must comply with the federal mandate of the Good Laboratory Practice standards (GLPs).

The Good Laboratory Practice standards are federal regulations established in the United States by both the Food and Drug Administration in 21 CFR Part 58 and the Environmental Protection Agency in 40 CFR Part 160.

Before initiating a study requiring compliance with the Good Laboratory Practice standards at the Oral Health Research Institute on the IUPUI campus, please contact Robin Johnson, OHRI's Quality Assurance Officer Manager, to assist you in meeting these standards.
