Impact Factor
- The impact factor for journals can be found by accessing
ISI Web of Knowledge.
- From the Web of Science main page, select the yellow tab called Additional
Resources.
- Choose Journal Citation Reports (JCR) under Analytical Tools.
- To view the list of dental journals contained in JCR, choose the appropriate
Year and the View a group of journals by Subject Category option from
the main JCR page. Click the Submit button. Select the category called
Dentistry, Oral Surgery & Medicine and click Submit.
- To search for a specific journal contained in JCR, choose the appropriate
Year and the Search for a Specific Journal option from the main JCR
page. Click the Submit button. Type the journal title in the search box and
click Search.
- Click on the journal title for details about the impact factor, immediacy index,
and cited half-life.
