EndNote Online Tutorials

EndNote is a bibliographic management tool that is used to store and organize citation information for books, journal articles, theses, and numerous other types of publications.

The user creates a Library of an infinite number of citations; organizes them by topic or project; and then, using the Cite While You Write function, can create reference lists and bibliographies during the process of writing a paper, journal article, thesis, or dissertation.

One of the most powerful features of EndNote is the ease with which the user can change the citation style based on the requirements of an instructor or journal editor. The user merely selects the correct citation style (APA, JADA, Turabian, etc.) and EndNote makes the appropriate formatting adjustments.

Below are several tutorials on using EndNote. These tutorials were written for use with EndNote XI and Microsoft Word 2007. If you are an Indiana University faculty member, staff member, or student EndNote XI is available for download to your computer at IUWare.
