Access
- The library is open

page. Indiana residents are entitled to a borrower's card. Applications are
available in the library or will be mailed upon request.
Book
Loan / Photocopy Service - A book-loan/photocopy service is offered to
all IUSD alumni and all dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants in the
state of Indiana. Photocopies of
articles from library-owned journals may be obtained for $.25 per page.
Library-owned books may be borrowed at a rate of $4.00 each. Orders may be
placed via telephone (317-274-5203) or electronically.
Electronic
Resources - Nine
online public access computers provide access to the Indiana
University Libraries catalog,
IUCAT,
as well as selected databases, reference resources, electronic journals and textbooks.
Interlibrary
Loan - The Indiana
University School of Dentistry Library will borrow materials
not owned by IUPUI campus libraries on behalf of School of Dentistry
faculty, staff and students. Libraries and businesses may make Interlibrary
Loan arrangements for materials owned by
the Indiana University School of Dentistry Library. Orders may be placed
via telephone (317-274-5203) or electronically.
Literature
Searches - The library's staff
will provide literature searches from a variety of online and print
resources at no charge to Indiana University School of Dentistry
personnel as well as dental professionals. Forms are available
electronically.
Photocopying
- Two
photocopiers are accessible from the library's main reading room. Both
photocopiers accept campus cards and one also accepts cash.
Rare Books and Special Collections - The Indiana
University School of Dentistry Library is home to a special collection of
rare books and materials related to the dental profession. Materials are
available for consultation in the library Monday through Friday from 7:30
a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Reference
- Library staff is
available for Reference assistance Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to
5:00 p.m.
