Welcome to the Annual Giving page. I wanted to take a few minutes to tell
you about IUSD's annual giving program. I normally send mailings out 3-5
times a year asking for funds for different areas of need. In
August-September the mailings have been for the Dental Assisting Program or for
the IDA Pursuit of Excellence's latest project. In mid to late November I
send out the Dean's Annual Appeal. This solicitation is for the dean to
have descretionary funds to help with needed programs/projects that are not
covered in the school's annual budget. January is when I send out a
request asking for gifts to help support students and faculty who are involed
with providing dental services to under served usually 3rd world countries.
The final mailing is sent out in April or May asking for scholarships and
student services support.
I am hoping through this website to cover areas not necessarily covered by one
of the mailings above. We currently have over 100 accounts that support
the departments/programs,
scholarships and endowments.
Eventually I will have links on the side of this page for the departments and
will have their appeals there for your information and use. My goal is
that mail solictation will be cut or maybe even eliminated by donors using the
web site to find out information about areas of interest and making their gifts
through this site.
